Refer a patient for a CT scan
You send us the patient — we give them the scan and send you the DICOM link the same day. No queues, no “come back tomorrow”, no lost files.
Houston 3D is a maxillofacial imaging centre in central Dnipro. We do not compete with you for the patient: our job is to take the scan, hand it over in a working format and cause you no trouble.
Equipment
Planmeca ProMax 3D. Voxel size 75 µm — which lets you see accessory canals, vertical root fractures and the outline of the periodontal ligament space with confidence. The metal artefact suppression algorithm gives a workable picture even in patients with a great deal of prosthetic work; if needed, we scan the jaws separated.
The dose adapts automatically to the patient's build, and there is a separate paediatric mode. The effective dose is 10–15 µSv depending on the protocol.

How it works for you
- You tell the patient which protocol is needed — in person, in a message or on a form. We do not require a formal referral.
- The patient comes at a time that suits them, weekends included. Booking in advance is not compulsory, but it is quicker with an appointment.
- The scan takes a few minutes. We check the image quality straight away — if the patient moved, we repeat it on the spot at no extra charge.
- The DICOM link goes to your inbox and to the patient's at the same time. If you have left us your address before, it is filled in automatically.
Archive
We have kept scans since 2022, with no time limit. This happens every day: a patient comes back two years later and you want to compare the changes — you call, we find the old study and send it again. The patient does not have to pay or be exposed to radiation a second time.
What we do not do
We do not write the report and we do not make the diagnosis. This is a matter of principle: the radiological picture without the clinical one is half the information, and the decision must stay with the doctor looking after the patient. We are responsible for the image being of good quality, complete and in your inbox on time.
Nor do we take patients away from you. Yes, there is a Houston dental clinic at the same address, but the imaging centre runs as a separate service — the patient you referred comes back to you.

DICOM plus a viewer that runs without installation. We send the link to the doctor and the patient at the same time. A USB Type-C drive if you need one.
No. It is enough for the patient to name the protocol or to show your instructions in any form, a message included. If you give us your email, you will get the result at the same time as the patient.
No, the report stays with the treating doctor — they see the clinical picture, which the scan does not show. We are responsible for the quality of the image and for you receiving it on time and in a working format.
Indefinitely; we have kept an archive since 2022. If the patient has lost the link, or you want to compare with an earlier study, call us and we will find it.
Yes. We are open seven days a week: Mon–Sat 8:00–19:00, Sunday 10:00–18:00. Working Sundays are rare among the imaging centres in the city.
50% for service members and combat veterans with an ID, 10% for internally displaced persons with a certificate. The discount applies to every protocol.
